Sorelle Gallery is pleased to present Recent Works by Lori Eubanks In our new expanded and renovated space in Stuyvesant plaza September 24 – October 20, 2011 Artist reception Saturday September 24th 4 – 8:30 p.m. And Sunday 25th 11 – 1 p.m. Eubanks was inspired by the impressionists, but dedicated to her unique approach to form, and combines serene compositions with simply stated themes. Her sensitively executed oils depict a variety of subjects, many with florals as a recurring favorite backdrop. Her paintings reflect the beauty that can be found in nature and uses color to reflect light and atmosphere. Her eye for color, movement, and mood are exquisite, and her moody Impressionist flowers are only beginning to receive the attention they merit. The artist travels extensively, throughout the United Stated and Europe seeking new inspiration. She has painted in both Monet’s Gardens and the French countryside. Her work has been exhibited in a show of American Artists in Giverny, France at Galerie Les Agapanthes along with countless shows throughout the United States.
