Learn to take better photographs of the most important years of your child's life!
LaNola Stone, New York based child photographer and author of Photographing Childhood, will conduct a workshop where she will coach students how to improve their photos of their children not so much by better technique or planning, but by paying attention to the child. Offering something, interacting at a child's level, and noticing when those unforgettable moments occur when you can click the shutter.
The best photographs come from understanding our intent or objective for image-making, and then combining this with a full appreciation of subject, history, and technique. ... (I) seek to help photographers of childhood recognize the importance of collaboration with their child subjects, and consider both the photograph and experience when working with youth.
