Mother's Day with the Honey Dew Drops

This husband-and-wife duo, Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, came together seven years ago, drawn by their shared love of folk music. Their devotion to the craft and to each other creates an undeniable magic on stage. Writing and singing in the style of folk and early country music, the Dewdrops entwine deep-rooted harmony singing with tight instrumentation to create new songs from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains that ring with originality. After their appearance and first place win on a 2008 talent show broadcast of NPR's A Prairie Home Companion, the Dewdrops launched their national touring career and have since released two critically acclaimed albums, If the Sun Will Shine (2009) and These Old Roots (2010) both of which have charted at the #1 and #2 positions on the Folk DJ Charts.
