This is a great workshop for learning a broad range of basic smithing techniques including hot and cold forming of steel and other metals, welding, riveting, wrapping, design and aesthetics. Plenty of one on one time. It will also be a good time to practice and hone skills you may already have. We will focus on small sculptural and functional objects. We will work hard, problem-solve, make pieces, have conversations and enjoy the opportunity to learn an ancient art! NOTE: Hard shoes and long pants are required for student's safety.
