In conjunction with the Academy of Lifelong Learning at Empire State College, Parting Glass Racing is hosting a Kentucky Derby Handicapping Seminar to prepare everyone for the Derby and the upcoming Saratoga Season.
Jeff Carle, ex-jockey, began making guest appearances, on Capital OTB-TV, and was added to the lineup in 2008 as a co- host on ‘Call To the Post’. Subsequently, he produced and co- hosted ‘Racetrips’, and is currently a regular on ‘Handicapper’s Report’.
Tom Amello, a Siena College graduate, began his thoroughbred education over 40 years ago. He learned the game from his father and uncle. Tom’s Saratoga selection sheet – Trackfacts, debuted at 1988 Spa meet, and continues to be made available at the Saratoga Race Course. Tom also created a newsletter, entitled (of course) Trackfacts! In April of 1992, production of a 30-minute television version of Trackfacts! debuted on the OTB network. Along the way, Tom developed a 2nd show for Capital OTB, Trackfacts – LIVE! Today, Trackfacts – LIVE airs every Sunday for 90 minutes, on the OTB television network.
Our expert handicappers will guide us through the Woodford Reserve Turf Classic, Kentucky Oaks, Humana Distaff and the Kentucky Derby with their expertise. Come join Parting Glass Racing and the Academy of Lifelong Learning at Empire State College and see who the experts pick.
