Dates - July 31st - August 9th 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Fee: $650 + Material Fee (financial assistance may be available upon request) With an Iron Pour that will be open to the public on August 6th. What happens when a stone carver works with cast iron? This iron pour is going to find out. Experienced cast iron artists will merge with artists working in other media for an intensive ten-day workshop. All artists will give informal presentations on their work. Participants will spend the first part of the workshop making their patterns and sand molds. Then as a group, participants will run the pour, casting their work and charging the furnace.
