This gourd project references the Native American legend of the Grandmother who spared a spider's life and was rewarded with a web which allowed only sweet dreams to pass through to her as she slept. The "dream catcher" held bad dreams until the rising sun could burn them away. The instructor provides top-quality gourds, tools to cut and clean them, and a wide array of art supplies for you to finish the exterior. To complete the project you will lace the "web" into an opening on the side of the gourd and embellish it with feathers and beads. For your bedroom, or an extra special hand-made gift for a loved one.
