Gateway House of Peace 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Gala

The Gateway House of Peace presents our Second Annual Thanksgiving Gala, which will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Longfellows Restaurant, Hotel & Conference Center, Saratoga Springs, NY. We are pleased to announce that our honorary chairpersons for this year's event are Ron & Michele Riggi. The event will feature cocktail music by The Sound Factory, a cash bar, dinner provided by Longfellows Restaurant and a silent auction. All proceeds will support the services provided by Gateway House of Peace. This is our main fundraising event of the year and our goal is to raise $40,000. This marks the beginning of our 2nd year in operation and we have been very blessed with the community support we have received. Our volunteers and staff have deeply touched the lives of hundreds of people this past year as we provided a warm, nurturing home and care for the terminally ill who cannot remain safely in their own homes. The volunteers have donated over 6,000 hours of their time. Since we are funded primarily through community support, no resident ever receives a bill for the care we provide. In addition, we receive no government, state or insurance funding.
