Visit this full-scale replica of an 1862-class sailing canal boat. In the canal, it was pulled like any other vessel but in open water sails and wind power would drive it to port. Discover how White Oak and White Pine, have been essential for centuries in boat building and the forest ecosystem. Celebrate the huge undertaking that began when ground was broken for the Erie Canal. This opportunity is presented by the Old Saratoga Historical Association and Hudson Crossing Park.
