One-day kids printmaking workshop

With Kathleen Loomis. One of the focus points for this workshop is to allow children to gain access to the printmaking process. There is no need for an expensive printmaking press here, we will use our hands and feet to apply the pressure necessary to produce vibrant pieces of art. Working on 3 sheets of printmaking paper, children will learn to register prints, and develop deep rich colors by layering primary colors for each of many pulls. They will learn to listen with their eyes to determine what the print needs and when it is done. Fee: $40 Age: 7+
