Casey's Poppy Art Quilt Workshop In this workshop, students will create a simple art quilt using a watercolor painting of a poppy using the pattern to create a fabric collage, fabric glue application enhanced by raw edge machine appliqué for adhesion to the background fabric, sewing machine thread play to create dimension and depth to bring the flower "to life," and finally free motion machine quilting throughout the background to complete the portrait.
