Native Americans of the Eastern Woodlands wore this style of moccasin; very lightweight and comfortable footwear which was said to feel like walking barefoot through the woods. Students will recreate this traditional footwear to wear and enjoy. Students will learn how to create a pattern and the required stitches. Students will leave with their own pair of moccasins. All materials including needles, thread and scissors will be provided.
