Film of a 1978 Performance of Don Quixote
The National Museum of Dance will be showing a film of a performance (staged in 1978 by Mikhail Baryshnikov) of Don Quixote by American Ballet Theater. This lively love story features bravura solos and distinctly Spanish style dancing. Denise Warner Limoli, Associate Professor of Dance at Skidmore College and former American Ballet Theater Corps de Ballet member will introduce the film and moderate a Question & Answer session afterwards.
