The Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra will present a free community concert at the Saratoga Senior Center on Sunday March 10 at 1 PM
Under the direction of Maestro Gioacchino Longobardi,world class conductor and concert pianist, performing internationally and throughout the Capital/Saratoga Region, the Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra (SSYO), is a select string ensemble comprised of young performers with exceptional talent. The orchestra will present a unique repertoire of classical music ranging from the Baroque to the Romantic periods featuring such composers as Vivaldi, Bach and Corelli. SSYO promises to deliver an inspiring and electrifying performance. Sure to please listeners of all ages!
The Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra is comprised of 19 musicians from 13 - 24 years of age. The orchestra seeks to expand the artistic and cultural horizons of young musicians through advanced training, peer collaboration and mentorship. Our commitment to musical excellence is uniquely crafted to inspire growth and a lifelong love of music, as well as to enrich the musical performances given in our community.
