Gather up the entire office and join us on this walk!
Employers and employees that participate in this new event, on June 13th, will walk along the sidewalk from the Clifton Park–Halfmoon Emergency Corps, in Clifton Park, to the Cracker Barrel, on Crossing Boulevard, in Halfmoon, and back. The walk is about one mile in total and participants are encouraged to walk at a comfortable pace allowing for conversation and networking. This event will be held rain or shine. Parking is available at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Emergency Corps building which is where everyone will register and where the walk will start. Healthy drinks and snacks will be provided for all walkers.
Clifton Park Supervisor Phil Barrett, Halfmoon Supervisor Kevin Tollisen, and Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo along with the members of the Twin Bridges Council will be participating in this walk. Sponsored by Blue Shield of Northeastern New York, this walk is being organized by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce to encourage employers and employees in Southern Saratoga County to take part in and recognize June as National Employee Wellness Month.
