Have you ever wanted to experience a figure drawing class with a live model but were too intimidated to try? Or are you an experienced artist who's looking for practice and some great tips? In the first of a two-part series, Michael Coughlin, museum educator at The Hyde, provides a clear, easy-to-follow procedure to simplify the figure drawing process. Besides his work at The Hyde, Michael is a drawing and painting professor at Maria College, and he has taught figure drawing at the University of Albany. With his positive reinforcement, he's sure that even novice artists will gain the confidence to learn this enjoyable skill. All materials will be provided with the cost of this workshop.
