CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services will be celebrating 35 years of service in Saratoga county. We are planning our fourth annual gala and look forward to including you or your organization in this year’s exciting event. An Unbridled Affair will be held on the evening of opening day of the Saratoga Meet, Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Gideon Putnam Resort in beautiful Saratoga Spa State Park. Gala Chairs, Hall of Fame Thoroughbred Trainer Gary Contessa and his wife, Jennifer are planning a spectacular evening to include: • A live auction featuring vacation get-a-ways and one of a kind experiences ; • A silent auction with a variety of items to appeal to every taste; • A cocktail hour to enjoy with many Racing notables • An elegant gourmet meal, as well as some surprises! This event supports the work of CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services, a non-profit organization that helps young people and their families navigate through the rough waters of poverty, substance abuse, homelessness, violence, academic challenges, and family dysfunction.
