236th Anniversary of the Battles of Saratoga
Large 18th-century American and British military camps feature nearly 200 soldiers helping set the 1777 scene with tents, campfires, cavalry troops, musket and cannon firings. Discuss the challenges of camp life with soldiers, officers, and camp followers; go on a ?reconnaissance? party with soldiers; learn about army food, sewing, and cooking techniques. Event presented in partnership with the Brigade of the American Revolution.
Camps open Saturday, 10am – 4pm; Sunday, 10am – 3pm
