Bridges of Song: American-Jewish Music & African-American Music with guest speaker Robert Cohen
In conjunction with the exhibition Picturing America: Signature Works from the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, visitors are invited to hear America in the melting pot of musical forms. Robert Cohen has produced and hosted over 100 radio programs on Jewish culture and identity - including National Public Radio's One People, Many Voices: American-Jewish Music Comes of Age, part of the permanent collection of the Paley Center for Media in New York.
This program, which is free and open to the public, is made possible through the support of the New York Council for the Humanities’ Speakers in the Humanities program.
