zombie 5k in support of Special Olympics
Individuals can participate as either runners or
zombies. Each runner will start
off with a belt and three flags. These flags represent runner lifelines.
Zombies hidden throughout the course will be attempting to take their lifelines
one at a time. If a runner finishes the race with at least one flag, they’ve survived, but
if zombies have taken all of a runner’s flags, the runner can still
complete the race, but they will not be eligible for awards.
ALL AGES WELCOME!
Runners can sign up as individuals or as
teams. Running races not your thing? Be a zombie! Each zombie will be
transformed in our "Mob Tent" the day of the event from 7:30am-9am.Every
volunteer will receive access to the course and other race day festivities, an
official rUNdead day t-shirt, and the thrill of running for their lives!

the athletes and their families benefit from involvement in Special Olympics,
