DESCRIPTION:Benefit to support Yaddo's Artist Residency ProgramYaddo's annual benefit\, set for Tuesday\, June 18 in the Yaddo Mansion\, is a celebration of the many contributions Yaddo artists have made to our cultural life.  Over 200 guests from Saratoga and the surrounding region enjoy an evening of entertainment\, delicious food and wine\, and splendid company.   Our guest of honor this year is Yaddo author Andrew Solomon\, whose best-selling book\, "Far From theTree: Parents\, Children\, and the Search for Identity" recently won the 2012 National Book Critics Circle Award for general non-fiction.  Solomon tells stories of parents who not only learn to deal with their exceptional children but also find profound meaning in doing so. The proceeds from this event help to ensure that the artists' residency program continues to flourish.  Individual reservations from $150 - $200\; sponsorships available from $600 to $10\,000.  A special pre-event cocktail party is offered on the second floor of the Mansion for Sponsorship level donors.
