The basket itself is woven with a solid bottom and uses a simple over under weave. The sturdy straps and rim are made of top quality bridle leather that is lashed with waxed linen and smooth quality horse hardware. Students will learn the basics of basket weaving and will also get a lesson in riveting leather to assemble the beautiful straps. A gorgeous\, heirloom quality basket!
