DESCRIPTION:In this introductory class\, students will learn the basics of creating stained glass art. Students will have a choice of two patterns\, either a diamond or a sunburst pattern. The instructor will guide students through the processes of safety\, tools and material selection\, design\, tracing and cutting the glass and soldering. All materials will be supplied. Students will leave their final session with a completed project and all the tools and materials needed to continue to create stained glass art at home.\n\n\nThis class meets on Wednesdays February 21&28\, March 7&14\n\n \n\nNOTE: This class will take place at the instructor's studio located at 21 Cooper Street\, Glens Falls\, NY 12801 - the basement of the Shirt Factory. Students must wear closed toe shoes and long pants - no nylon clothing. Aprons or old clothes are suggested.
