SUMMARY:Rails to Saratoga Springs and to Mount McGregor

These attractions included the famous Broadway hotels\, the many mineral springs\, Congress Park\, Saratoga Race Course\, Canfield Casino and a trip by rail to Mount McGregor. Railroads such as the Delaware & Hudson and the Saratoga\, Mount McGregor and Lake George\, as well as several other lines that served the area\, were all a part of the Saratoga scene. Join Dr. Richard Chait\, author (and Distinguished Research Fellow at the National Defense University)\, as he brings back area images of a bygone era.
