DESCRIPTION:Chamber Benefits Exclusively for Nonprofit MembersAs nonprofit organizations can face different challenges and have different needs than for profit Chamber members\, there are opportunities through membership with the Chamber specific for these organizations. One of the newest of these benefits is automatic membership with New York Council on Nonprofits (NYCON) as a benefit of Chamber membership. This organization specializes in assisting nonprofits throughout New York State by offering training\, discounts\, resources and additional connections. Two representatives from NYCON will be on hand to share information about how you can best utilize this new member benefit. www.NYCON.org\nLeadership Saratoga is the long standing\, community volunteer training program managed by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce with an excellent reputation. Over the last almost 30 years\, the program has educated hundreds of individuals to better give back to our community in leadership positions of boards of directors\, elected offices and other volunteer capacities. The nonprofits in our county benefit directly from this program through staff education\, knowledgeable board members and completed projects by various classes.
