DESCRIPTION:Pitney Meadows Community Farm will turn its new "high tunnel" greenhouse into a festive facility for making holiday ornaments at the "Holiday Ornament Festival." Families will find all of the materials they need to make a wide range of decorations\, including pine-cone bird feeders\, painted gourds\, recycled wrapping paper from newspapers\, and ornaments from such natural materials as pine cones\, acorns\, walnuts\, berries\, and seed pods. Horse-drawn wagon rides will be offered\, as will hot chocolate\, cider\, Christmas cookies and other holiday refreshments. And the Saratoga Santa will make a special appearance around 2:15 p.m. to wish everyone "happy holidays!" Please pre-register at http://pitneymeadows.org.
