DESCRIPTION:Code Blue was created to help the citizens of Saratoga Springs who are in need.Code Blue was created to help the citizens of Saratoga Springs who are in need. After a very successful opening winter\, a committee was formed to create an 8k road race to support this essential cause. Proceeds from this event will go toward the future growth of this extremely necessary shelter. Saratoga's first 8k road race starts on High Rock Avenue and rolls its way through the charming neighborhood streets of the East Side with an out and back on the beautifully designed City's "Spring Trail". The course layout is front loaded with a few challenging hills\, then it levels off with more than 5k remaining\, making it flat and fast. This annual 8k road race will be held on Saturday of Easter weekend. Something unique will be provided for all ages and will include a silent auction\, Easter egg hunt\, face painting and more.
