DESCRIPTION:The Saratoga Springs City Council will host a "workshop\," on Tuesday\, March 24\, at 6:00 p.m.\, in the City Council Chambers\, in City Hall\, on Broadway\, in Saratoga Springs. This workshop is part of an effort by the City Council to review of a proposed set of revisions to the City's Comprehensive Plan. This workshop will include presentations regarding proposed changes and amendments to the draft plan now being offered by several organizations\, including the Saratoga National Golf Club and the D'Andrea family. Like other meetings of the City Council\, there will be time on the workshop agenda for members of the public to comment either on the presentations or the comprehensive plan itself. The Saratoga National Golf Club will be presenting information specifically about their proposed Open Space Resort Overlay. If approved\, this designation would provide the City with the historic opportunity to permanently protect nearly 400 acres of open space in the City's greenbelt forever. The public is invited to attend.
