DESCRIPTION:Anyone looking for a fun\, unique 5k on beautiful wooded trails along the Hudson is invited to join Hudson Crossing Park\, Schuylerville\, NY on Sunday\, October 7\, 2018\, for the second annual Burgoyne's Bridge 5k Fun Run! A great run for all ages and stages\, this event highlights what's most important to Hudson Crossing Park: health\, history\, and\, of course\, time spent outdoors and having fun! Participants will run the trails of Hudson Crossing Park\, celebrating the rich history of our area.. including crossing the Dix Bridge\, which is located where General Burgoyne's "Bridge of Boats" was built in September 1777. Identified by red or blue wrist bands\, runners will also compete to see whether the English (red) or American (blue) forces have the most participants crossing the finish line - winning bragging rights for the coming year! Stick around after the race for the Schuylerville Small Business Association Fall Festival in Downtown!
