DESCRIPTION:"A Musical Odyssey" takes a whimsical look at the development of music through the ages.Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus\, under the direction of Nancy Faddegon\, teams with local schools to bring its love of music to our surrounding communities.  In January\, 2012\, the chorus received a Saratoga Program for Arts Funding (SPAF) Grant for our project\, "The Evolution of Barbershop: A Musical Odyssey."  The program is a musical/theatrical piece containing original music compositions and parodies\, not to mention\, fabulous costumes!  "A Musical Odyssey" takes a whimsical look at the development of music through the ages.  The concerts have been developed with the music departments hosting these events\, therefore the performances will be unique to their location.  You can count on seeing local talent from the school communities at both events.  Travel with us back in time for an evening of unique musical entertainment. Two Performances 7:00 pm October 10th at Stillwater Central School and November 9th at Galway Central Schools.
