DESCRIPTION:Saratoga County Economic Opportunity Council’s Weatherization Assistance Program of Saratoga and Schenectady Counties will be holding a Weatherization Resource Fair on Wednesday\, October 30\, 2013. The Fair will be held in Fellowship Hall of the Presbyterian New England Congregational Church\, on 24 Circular St.\, Saratoga Springs\, NY from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This is FREE community event.  The Saratoga County EOC will also have an outreach event in Schenectady County at the Schenectady County Library\, 99 Clinton Street\, Schenectady\, NY 12305 on Wednesday\, October 30th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  This event will include information on our services.  Enjoy a home audit demonstration as our technician’s show how they determine if there are any air leaks and how they begin to save you money on your energy bill.  Other presentations will encourage the use of energy efficient light bulbs and the importance of smoke and CO detectors and many more energy savings tips. There will be a children’s section that includes coloring and games.Our program is supported by New York State’s weatherization programs where the focus is on home occupants’ energy savings and the improved safety\, health\, and comfort of individuals in New York State.
